When I purchased this at a garage sale I envisioned what it should look like, she was pretty beat up,
wood slats were terribly splintered and
the cast iron sides had rusted
I restored the bench by sanding all the slats and
stripping the cast iron
I used the following to restore her back to life;
4 Cans of White Krylon Primer
3 Cans of Rust Oleum Apple Red Gloss spray on the slats
3 Cans of Rust Oleum White Gloss for the cast iron sides
3 Cans of Krylon Crystal Clear Finish
26 brand new silver bolts with lock in nuts and
washers to anchor the slats
20 brand new silver screws for the braces
I then finished with rubber sole protectors on the bottom of the feet
The bench measures 4' wide 16" from floor to seat, 30" from floor to top of back
This would be perfect for an Ice Cream Shop, little girls room, garden, sunroom tea shop
Local pick up or will deliver within 150 miles of Reno for $50.00 (please convo me to add the delivery cost)
