I have neglected my blog for way too long. Was busy getting the yards ready for winter, took a quick trip to Las Vegas to see my daughter, Kresnae Marie, then she came up to see us in January, this is her and her Daddy in my gorgeous Red Retro Kitchen
.......I also have been seeing a shrink now for 4 months, trying to clear my "hoarded" mind. He has me writing a journal from as far back as my mind can take me (which is 3 years old)...this was pretty easy since I had a very abusive brother (mentally & physically). It has brought back many memories that have been stored away in a locked part of my mind...So dealing with this has also kept me quite busy...I put away most of my inventory when I first starting seeing him, per his request, just to get away from the normal routine...Just now starting to pull things out, getting my juices flowing to create some jewelry, hats, bags, restore some vintage slips etc. We also decorated our house for Christmas outside only for the first time in 4 years. I just love my horse and sleigh...
Going to have one last garage sale end of Spring, whenever that may be since we haven't really had a winter yet....I joined a great Team (Vintage Explosion) on Etsy, they do a lot of advertising for their members and keep us all quite active in the team, its paying off quite nicely as my sales are picking up, isn't that what it's all about? Here are a few pics of what has sold.
